Ever think about founding a company? Building a business is hard. Venture for America makes it easier.
Venture for America (VFA) is a career accelerator for driven and enterprising young graduates. It helps them become entrepreneurs by connecting them with full-time, salaried work at AWESOME startups all over the US. In addition to hands-on experience in a growth stage company, this two year Fellowship offers training, mentorship, and opportunities for seed funding at the conclusion of the program.
Interested? Come to the _____ room at Dodge Fitness Fitness Center on Monday, December 2nd between 10am and 3pm to hear more. As a recent grad (Columbia College 2012-- I also was a member of the Varsity Rowing team) and current VFA Fellow, I understand the pressure of figuring out your next step and know all about VFA firsthand, so feel free to come with any questions you may have. Members of the VFA staff may also stop in to meet prospective fellows!
*NOTE that the 2nd round of VFA applications closes on December 2nd! My advice-- submit your application ahead of time, and then stop by to get a leg up on the interview process.
