Amy grew up among the amber waves of Midwestern grain outside of St. Louis and then followed her love of post-punk music to sunny Southern California. After earning a degree in philosophy and government from Claremont McKenna College, she did stints in Cameroon and Cambodia, where she became a grant-writing ninja, enthusiastic connector of people and ideas, and unwitting startup junkie. While earning her MBA at NYU Stern, Amy joined the team at B Lab, where she helped launch B Analytics, the leading data platform for impact investors. At VFA, Amy is always looking to build new partnerships for the organization and is driven to help scale our impact at a blazingly-fast rate. She lives in beautiful Park Slope with her husband and two children, but is not a co-op member and is struggling to learn how to compost her trash.
