Isa is a maple syrup lovin’ Vermont native who shed her snow shoes for some flip flops to attend Pomona College. With a degree in politics in hand, Isa joined CALPIRG, a public interest advocacy group, where she worked as a campus organizer for 2 years. During her stint at CALPIRG, Isa recruited and trained college students to work on public interest issues, ran campaigns to increase youth voter turnout and promote solar energy, managed a civic engagement internship program, and helped campaign offices manage staff payroll and track their fundraising. After getting some public sector experience under her belt, Isa longed to return to the east coast and is now at VFA beefing up our Special Ops team with her onboarding and intern management expertise, her process oriented hustle, and love for snarkily policing Team VFA. When she isn’t corralling everyone in the office for a team meeting or separating recyclables, Isa can be found cooking up tasty meals in her kitchen in Queens or taking long walks (When you see her walking, don’t try to offer her a ride. She is going to gosh darn walk).
